What We Believe
Our beliefs are tied to the Word of God; the list below is not exhaustive, but provides you a general idea of our church beliefs:
We believe in one Lord, who manifests himself in three ways: the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:5-6; John 16:7)
We believe that God provided gifts and they are given to both men and women. (Luke 2:36-37; Acts 2:17)
We believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:1, 5-7;1 Corinthians 15:14,17)
We believe that marriage is a covenant, a sacred bond between a man and a woman instituted by and publicly entered into before God. (Genesis 2:22-25, Ephesians 5:25-30)
We believe new converts must verbally confess their belief and faith in Jesus Christ and they shall be saved. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 10:9)
We believe in one baptism, and that it serves as an affirmation of faith. (Ephesians 4:4-6; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Romans 6:3-4)
We believe in The Lord’s Supper. (Luke 22:19-20)
We believe in healing, the laying of hands & anointing with oil. (James 5:14-15; Matthew 10:1-2,8 ; Psalms 23:5; 103:2-3)
We believe in the Second Coming of Christ. (Revelations 22:12)
